Crystal King is a frantic sounding battle but I'm going to give this to the catchy banjo plucking.

Speed Freaks - “Raceway”
Raceway is a nice mix of speeding and cruising music. Rather chill. The thumbnail is absolutely killing me, too. Siren is ok, but I'm leaning towards Raceway for sure.

Gleylancer - “Flying Rocks”
Dat Mega Drive riffin'. Dat SpongeBob. SpongeBob track is actually not terrible for being less than a minute. Gleylancer track has some ear ringing moments but I'm going with it.

lol Muscle March. Good stuff actually. Sunrise is really lovely, though.

Puzzle Bobble - “Title”
Puzzle Bobble :heart: Taito music always makes me happy, vanilla as it can be sometimes. ZX Spectrum music can be quite unwiedly. A Follin can only do so much with the tools given. I don't hate it, but I am gonna go with Puzzle Bobble.

The Sims 2 - “Love of Mine”
When you wanna sing along to something but it's in Simlish so you just hum like a weirdo. Yeah I like the r&b track more than Sonic rock'n battle.

I feel like the Amnesia track may be more effective in context. I'm not super into either track, sadly.

Garfield: Lasagna World Tour - “Mexico”
The Mr. Gimmick track sounds so familiar to me but I don't think I've played the game or listened to it. Catchy tune. But I likey Mexico. Got this playfulness to it with the hint of Mexican style music. Real shame it cuts off like that at the end, though.

A few of them I just watched like 10-15 seconds of before I knew my answer, and the others I just skimmed through the track.

You know each round lasts for three days, right? Why just skim it all within minutes rather than give everything a proper listen?
 
I just don’t really have paintence in listening to all these tracks, I don’t bother with listening to video game tracks like I used too, and I’d much rather do something else with my time.

Hopefully I can redeem myself next time By giving them all a fair shake.
 
"I'd much rather do something else with my time" truly does beg the question "Then why even fucking bother in the first place?" IMO.
 
I feel like we have this conversation every few showdowns. If you have better things to do than listen to the songs you're voting on, then you have better things to do than vote on songs you didn't bother listening to.

Looking back at the this round and the last round, I guess I only really voted cause I have familiarity with most of the games that are represented in this Showdown (Sonic Mania,Puzzle Bobble, Agent X etc), and also just cause there’s very little gaming discussion on the board.

I even wonder myself why I even bothered doing this showdown (or the last one for that matter), likely for the best if I stop here, don’t want to ruin these threads any farther.
