What movies/songs/shows ect do you hate the most?

I will say, I am curious about Kangdos's thoughts on the Jurassic Park movies, I want to see if it justifies my disinterest in that franchise, as I honestly don't care for it at all
 
global mod party!

every few months youtube gets on my ass for adblock so I turn it off for a few weeks and it's somewhat bearable but then they stack 2 15-second unskippable ads or a 51 second unskippable ad and I say "fuck you, adblock is back bitch"

Personally, I just use premium, as much as I don't want to give them my money
 
You know, you are such a friendly, chill, reasonable and patient person that I (and this is NOT a joke) often forget that you are a moderator
 
they nail me sometimes but like 75% of the time I get away with it
 
I also watch a lot of independent news channels that get demonetized a lot

I do wish you had arrived back when I was still in a mood though because as things ended up I got into a pointless squabble with Matty where I said a few unreasonable things about him when in fact he's not the bad one around here.

But now those times are behind us, and we will never get them back, all we can do is speculate about what could have been.

On a postive note, my review of the Jurassic World movies should be up in the foreseeable future.
 
lol you can't say attempted inflammatory things (that really aren't as edgy as you think they are) and just back down without looking even more wimpy than you already are. i wouldn't play that hand

Anyway yeah regarding YouTube ads, I just give my hard earned dollarydoos to YouTube for Premium service for two reasons:

1) Can't stand their ads and even though I have adblock, I don't wanna have to see the little messages begging me to pleeeeease turn off adblock so we can run our ads pleeeeease when I'm trying to binge random things.
2) They lock the most basic feature of background play while app is in use behind Premium. I use YouTube to play the music I can't get on Spotify (or when I get sick of Spotify's useless shuffle feature) and I don't want my phone/iPad to have to stay on the entire time I use the app.

I used to pay for Spotify premium but found it simply wasn't worth it. They have a much larger library of songs since I have paid for it, but songs drop in and out of the service and as I said the shuffle is just stupid. I have 2000+ songs and shuffle wants to play the same 20 songs even after clearing out my cache. I'd rather put my money into YouTube since I can use it for more than just music and podcasts.
 
I despise mumble rap and any song (usually rap) that heavily uses the N word. It's like you've automatically killed the song just by using it once and only dig yourself even deeper the other 4 dozen times you spit it out over the next two to three minutes!

Hey no worries. I did get frustrated due to the baiting (and you pointing it out as why you'd not be able to handle being moderator didn't make it better, as this thread became a self-demonstrating example), though as I've seen before, the board have these moments of somebody making some kind of a fuss or being trollish occasionally.

No need to apologize, really. I just had a moment of getting a bit let down, if not a little embarassed, by the obvious baiting and discord in this thread soon after we spoke of you having done well had you been moderator (and which really proved your point of not being cut out for it), but it passed (even though the discord continues and isn't over, as we are seeing).

I wish we had more level-headed moderators.
 
We've never had a crew of 100% level headed mods. Not even since the beginning.

That's when you start abusing your powers and just silently deleting posts that don't contribute to a thread ;)

being a mod does not equal being an entirely passive robot and refusing to be outspoken about bad posting. engaging in an argument also isn't baiting. it's called having a conversation, which forums are built on

While you indeed have a point there or two (also in that level-headed staffers could be abusing their powers, I guess), I think it could still stand for having a few more level-headed moderators, but all we have had for now is a bunch of crazies. Myself included :P

Take what I said with a grain of salt, not at face value. Wasn't really a 100% serious about it.

Obviously being a mod doesn't mean being a huge by the book stickler (or a passive robot) and even those should feel free to speak their mind and engage in conversation (never said anything of those things being bad, I rather advocate for them, so this does feel like twisting my words a bit) and this place obviously tend to be a bit tongue in cheek, sarcastic and/or jokey (which I do like about the forums, there's no policing like in so many others). Conversations and forums going hand in hand is so obvious that you don't even have to remind me.

But that said, I still think that things shouldn't be taken all too far, especially when someone is vocally feeling uncomfortable in some way or the other due to how other users are acting toward him/her/they (and some posts here directed at Kangdos, even though silly and not ill intent, can be interpreted by some as baiting; maybe "baiting-like" is more apt of an description. I dunno). What I'm saying is basically hat there should be a few logical limits linked to just common sense.

That and as @Financial Panther said, I think this thread should get back on topic instead of people trading barbs. I think we have all had our fun (some at Kangdos' expense) and it is time to get back to business (and those of you wanting to continue talking with Kangdos, I think it belongs in another thread or via PM, but feel free to disagree with me as you like).

I do apologize to @Kangdos for calling him Big Mouth. Calling anyone Big Mouth is way over the line. I haven’t seen even a single clip of the show, but the visual style alone make me hate the very existence of time and space paving the way for it’s creation.
