I hate U.S. Politics and I think that the way it's set up sucks-ass I believe that there shouldn't be two parties separating the country more than we already are, but with a gun to my head I HAD to pick something, I would say, Republican. Keep in mind I HATE conservatives but I really hate Liberals

Who wants to live in an unpoliced world, where thugs like Putin and the Chinese Politburo do as they please? I don't. I'm not in favour of Cheney-Rumsfeld unilateralism, but I am in favour of US-led multilateralist policing, as we had under Clinton.

If Latham didn't do it nobody would have seen him as an insane person and he probably would have gotten into Prime Minister role in 04

Most likely, if Latham won, we get the broad centrist government we always get with the ALP (they are only centre-right if you are well to the left). Most voters will always be in the broad centre. They won't tolerate anything too left or too right. Especially Bandt/Shoebridge/Jordon et al trying to necromance socialism.
 
As somebody who been on the Left and Right at different points at his life FUCK THEM BOTH.
