I'm turning 50 on May 13...perhaps Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ron Wood(?) will share a piece of cake with me...without ANY sex involved!

Let It Bleed is one of my all-time favourite albums. 19th Nervous Breakdown is my favourite Stones song.

let it bleed is such a jam

albums like this, hwy 61 revisited, and zeppelin ii just have that perfect length of nine songs

do you guys like disco stones

Emotional Rescue is pretty good, but I have to admit I agree with Riviera. I'm not the biggest Stones fan( I'm not familiar with the deep cuts you selected Melody) but I do respect their longevity and contribution to rock n' roll.

thompsons, download let it bleed with that mediafire link i posted above

immediately go to midnight rambler and turn it up to eleven

you won't be disappointed

Good song, a lot more bluesy for my taste (for Stones material anyway.) I like their darker more atmospheric songs.

did you get to the bridge?

the stones do not get any more atmospheric than that

I find Ruby Tuesday or even Angie to be more effective in that sense. The oustanding harp playing (is that Brian Jones?) overshadows most of the other elements in this song.

For wordsmiths I much prefer Bruce Springsteen(the next Dylan!), but I do have my Dylan favourites: Subterranean Homesick Blues, The Hurricane, Tangled Up In Blue, Blowing In The Wind etc.

been spinning 'exile on main st' a lot the past two weeks. such perfect summer music, guys

this album is seriously one of the best things ever. i'm ashamed that i've never actually bought a physical lp :(

You can purchase the massive box set that came out a few years ago or do you already have it?
