They spoiled Lisa the boy scout which actually did have a twist to hide so... Not sure why they'd be more guarded about a thoh... Specially when they aren't terribly surprising anymore.

Matt Selman just confirmed that Brian Kelley will be the co-runner for 'Top Goon', 'Bartless', OABF14 and OABF17. So yes, for anybody whose wondering, I did actually ask Matt Selman privately on Twitter about which OABF episodes that Brian Kelley will be co-running

Also, it turns out that OABF14 may be 'The Very Hungry Caterpillars', given that Brian Kelley wrote that upcoming episode

And, to put point to thus question, by excluding method Tim Long is EP for OABF01 (was confirmed), 9 (Hostile Kirk Place), 13 (that is code of "Glass"), and… either 18 or 19 or 20 - there should be one more Jean-runned.

WAIT A MINUTE, *calculating* there is one more script left:uhh:

If they do the same as UABF code producing, then Al Jean is gonna have six episodes. So he probably gets two holdovers for next season, so far is something like this

OABF01 | Tim Long: "From Beer to Paternity"
OABF09 | Tim Long: "Hostile Kirk Place"
OABF13 | Tim Long: "Homer's Adventure Through The Windshield Glass"
QABFXX |

OABF02 | Al Jean: "When Nelson Met Lisa"
OABF06 | Al Jean: "The Many Saints of Springfield"
OABF10 | Al Jean: "Pin Gal"
OABF15 | Al Jean: "Clown V. Board Of Education"
QABFXX |
QABFXX |

OABF03 | Rob LaZebnik: "Game Done Changed"
OABF07 | Rob LaZebnik: "Carl Carlson Rides Again"
OABF12 | Rob LaZebnik: "Write Off This Episode"
QABF22 | Rob LaZebnik:

OABF04 | Brian Kelley: "Top Goon"
OABF08 | Brian Kelley: "Bartless"
QABF14 | Brian Kelley: "The Very Hungry Caterpillars"
QABF17 | Brian Kelley:

OABF05 | Carolyn Omine: "My Life As A Vlog"
OABF11 | Carolyn Omine: "Fan-ily Feud"
OABF16 | Carolyn Omine: "A Mid-Childhood's Night Dream"
QABF21 | Carolyn Omine:

I just hope Al doesn't get the treehouse of horror

First - Justin and Sandboy, can you please edit your respective posts with larger screenshots to "catch" the Matt Selman icon in DM and your question. Just edit to be clear, without posting any "reply" to it. Thanks :)

Jean will be doing OABF18 and OABF19.
Not 2-parter, not 2-parter😐

Way ahead of you Bohdan

If Al Jean doesn't want to showrun next year's Treehouse of Horror, I might be okay if Matt Selman could showrun an another Treehouse of Horror next year, unless if we get OABF17 for next year's Treehouse of Horror or something? 🤔

Character from one series to appear in another series. Yeah that definitely cross-over and veeeeeeeery original

:joke:
Besides, only Linda is scheduled to appear, without the rest of the Belchers.

This “Cross-over” is more of a “crossover appearance”, like a cameo or having some minor role in one of the Treehouse segments

Well, what if she appears in only the opening segment then? 🤔

Unless if we get either OABF18 or OABF19 for THOH XXXIV next year, but we shall see 🙏
Treehouse of Horrors have consistently fallen in the 16-18 range of the production cycle these past few seasons. We already know 16 isn't it for the OABF episodes, so we're either looking at a Kelley co-run THOH (ideally preserving the triple writer format from this year) or a return to Jean-run mediocrity... as they have drawn 17 and 18, respectively.

The last time a THOH fell outside of the 16-18 range was THOH XXV (back in Season 26).

They probably won’t be connected, but since OABF16 had it’s table read a few weeks ago now, the script-making process is probably happening for OABF18, though there’s no confirmation of new episodes yet

Actually, Al Jean will be the showrunner for OABF19 and OABF20 (which means Matt Selman will obviously showrun OABF16, OABF17 and OABF18), thanks to AlwaysWondered

Also, the November 6th airdate has been removed into The Futon Critic, meaning that there's no new episodes of The Simpsons, nor a repeat of one of the previous Simpsons episodes coming on November 6th

Because Fox is airing a baseball playoff game on Wednesday 10/12, it has to air a new episode of its Wednesday shows (The Masked Singer and Lego Masters) on another day, and it has to be before the Fall season ends, so they will both air on Sunday 11/6. (A repeat of The Masked Singer will air at 7 Eastern, so no repeat then, either.)
This could happen again; there is a chance those two shows will be pre-empted again, if the World Series does not end in four games; Game 5 is scheduled for Wednesday 11/2. Then again, if that were to happen, Fox would probably air The Masked Singer on Sunday 11/6 at 7, and Lego Masters on Sunday 11/20 at 7 (11/13 is a Fox NFL doubleheader day).

By the way, here is the explanation about Oct 30th from The Simpsons archive (made by you, @That Don Guy)
October 30 • Treehouse of Horror XXXIII (UABF18)
Cities in the Eastern and Central time zones may get this episode delayed because of Fox's NFL coverage

It is possible, albeit highly unlikely, that this episode could be pre-empted if either or both of World Series Games 1 and 2 are rained out, forcing Game 2 to be played on that day, but chances are that even if this were to happen, the game would be played during the day as it would be asking a lot for the teams to play on Sunday night, then fly possibly across the country and play again on Monday night as scheduled (but then again again, (a) this would put the game up against Fox's NFL coverage that day, which Fox probably doesn't want, and (b) if both games are rained out, Game 1 could be on Sunday night and Game 2 on Monday afternoon)

According to this "interview", Marge's favorite episode is "I'm Furious (Yellow)"
