I agree that New Kids on the Blecch is a great episode, only tarnished by the unbelievably stupid ending. This season as a whole isn't bad, but it isn't great either.

Slightly better than season 11 on the heels of its standout episodes, but unlike some I don't think there's a huge difference in quality (or lack thereof) between the two. 12 may be less wacky but only replaces it with dullness. Tennis the Menace is my least favourite pre-latter Jean seasons.

Good to see Hungry, Hungry Homer get some love on here. It might be one of my favourite post season 10 episode.

Along with Tennis The Menace, Simpsons Safari was another ep that I recall was a misfire back in the day. Funny how the bad ones stick out as well as good in the memory. Woof.
