This episode is interesting. The title was a clever pun, and the first airing date was perfect for the episode since it is related to love. The parodies of The Terminator and Gone with the Wind were geniuses. Such an underrated gem! A- (originally A before 8-6-22) (8-28-22: It is currently a 4/5, not 5/5 like it was before)

That's one episode I didn't enjoy as much as I thought I would when I started my marathon. I remembered quite a few scenes from my youth but I found it a little hard to get through. It's such an early episode, I can't remember the production number but it feels a little rough. None of the characters are fully fleshed out at that point, I think they improved on skinner's character a lot until his "pansyfication" in modern simpsons. The Black Widower in season 3 is a much stronger Selma Episode.

3/5

I agree that the episode is much stronger with the plot and depth, but it was still a good episode.
