Nazis are not like fucking comic book characters who exist to make your fanfic seem cool. They were real life who killed real life Jews including my great-grandparents and great-uncles. I'm only here because my grampa was sent to America as a kid in the 1930s and thus escaped the Holocaust. So fuck off.
 
nazis are actually also terrible for fiction because they're almost always reductively written as comically evil big bads in service of torture porn (everyone trying to show the MOST BRUTAL depiction of the victims) and patriotic porn when they inevitably lose. it's lazy at best and actively dismissive of the current political climate at worst
 
nazis also have horrible taste

Unless you use them right, as in portraying them negatively. I portray them negatively, like all the other good people out there who aren’t neo-Nazis.
