Kiss and Tell (10.02/03-10-2018)

So, this episode at least has the intelligence not to retcon some plots. Haley still likes Arvin, but kissed Dylan in the previous one. Guess she is such a ditz. But the rest of the family don't care because Mitch and Cam help Claire to force Alex to admit she lost her virginity. Luke jumps in the pool, while the family does not realize why she gathers at Jay. He, meanwhile is just ignored by Phil (for once, they waited 10 years) and Gloria does not believe Manny who says he has a Canadian girlfriend (Hillary Ann Matthews as Sherry debuts in this episode).

A Sketchy Area (10.03/10-10-2018)

A very good one. So, i like how Luke/Phil stories are paired. Always a pleasure. It turns out Phil is a very supportive dad as he helps Luke practice Rugby every afternoon at community college. Plus, Luke has some "feminine class aka lunch break", don't forget. But, Phil saw earlier a class about real state and offered the teacher to replace him .

Soon, a lot of his students liked him and he was even promoted to teacher. Good story ? Well, not really because Luke does not want him to be here. The reason is simple. He never had a space of his own, but he finally changes his mind after the Rugby coach told him he was accepted in the team. Remember Phil was a DJ in 1.14 ? He still mentions it.

Meanwhile, Jay and Claire begin their first day with their new electronical closet associate. It turns out they are very relax, and very cool, but Jay ruins everything. Damn, this guy needs to be more tolerant. Claire is caught in the middle.

Mitch and Cam's day is also important. Mitch has his very first affair with the judge (poor guy, he always has to bear a Pritchett member, though this time, he does not fire him, luckily) but Dan Levy was previously one of Mitch and Cam's guest and they offended him (never understood how, but still). Now, he returns as a sketchman and wants to make a very ugly portrait of Mitchell... It's up to Cameron to save the day.

As for Gloria, it was Joe's first day at preschool (and his 50th by the way) and he was very terrified because he had to take his lunch at canteen and he had to go to school alone (though Gloria let him also go home alone, a bit dangerous). But Gloria was very stressful after Alex's surprise visit who said she did not want to do any science after she graduate. The parallel Jay/Alex and Gloria/Claire was cool, especially because we rarely see Jay and Alex together.

Notes :

- No Haley ( one of the reasons i loved this episode), Manny or Lilly in this episode, though the two latters were mentioned by Luke and (indirectly) by Mitchell
- French title : Tout le monde a quelque chose à cacher (Everybody has something to hide, a sentence pronounced by Cameron)
- Production code : 10ARG03

Torn Between Two Lovers (10.04/17-10-2018)

A very stupid episode, i really disliked it. So, Haley prones to be independant, but still asks Phil and Claire about Dylan and Arvin, because she does not know which one to choose. Seriously ? And Manny's girlfriend does not please Gloria while Mitchell and Cameron visit a childless couple (one of the guy is portrayed by Matthew Chesnut from Fresh off the Boat) who have two children.

Cal, portrayed by Marcello Reyes, returns for this season, but that's all. He missed the previous and some others.

Notes :

- No Luke , Alex (missed both) and Joe in this one. Some turn over.
- French title : Le joli cœur (The beautiful heart, if you translate it litterally, otherwise it's an expression which can be translated as the seducer)
- Production code : 10ARG04

10.05 La fête des morts .jpg

Good Grief (10.05/24-10-2018)

So, the traditional Halloween one. Even if it's a bit sadder this year. The whole family gathers at the Dunphies after they learnt that Dede died. We just have a message left by her on Claire's answering machine. So, they all are sad and try to cope with different reasons. Phil and Cam try to remember the good moments they had with her while eating ice cream (i like the fact Phil can't recognize a real cop from a stripper) and Claire and Mitchell try to find at least one moment in which they enjoyed Dede's presence.

As for Jay, he just wanted to eat a sandwich in a rare bakery which does not exist anymore today and hides it in the fridge but someone actually eats it in his place and a mysterious Dede Doll terrorizes Gloria. Meanwhile, Luke makes some crazy jokes, Haley eats more than usual and Alex try to have sex with Bill.

Notes :

- Production code : 10ARG06
- French title : La fête des morts (Dead's party, actually, it's celebrated two days later)
- No Manny or Joe in this episode, though Gloria mentions them. This makes Luke the only character who appears among the kids in every Dede's episodes (9.06 showed her in flashback and Haley was absent from it).
- Disguises : Phil and Claire are a fly and spider (ugly disguises), Mitch, Cam and Lilly are Harry, Meghan and a guard, Alex is Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Luke wears a shirt with some anatomy on it, Haley is a cat (yep), Jay is Joe di Maggio and Gloria is Marilyn Monroe.

On the Same Paige (10.06/31-10-2018)

A very good one. It turns out Phil is a so cool teacher he agrees to make some sessions at home and Claire and Luke even mistake a student named Serge for him.

But, our beloved teacher risks to lose his job if Paige Matthews leaves his class, because it means he could not have the minimal student number. So he tries to convince her to stay, but she mistakes it for flirting while she goes out with Luke at the same time. Meanwhile, Claire has some problems with herself and an old essay she judges under appreciated about Doctrine Monroe.

Jay has a "girl-friend". I mean he met Laura, a mom in Joe's school and the two hit it off without any sexual remarks. But at the same time, Gloria worries for Joe's patch eye and Jay is the one who actually feels guilty for nothing. As for Mitchell and Cameron, the latter accuses the former not to enjoy life enough, reharsh.

Notes :

- No Haley (not missed), Alex or Manny in this one. I think the former was mentioned, but with this episode, every kid has been absent in a row.
- And since Lilly only does have a brief scene and one line of dialogue, and that younger kids were not allowed to read script at the table, it means Nolan was the only kid to attend the session script.
- Doug Budin's last one

Did the Chicken cross the road ? (10.07/07-11-2018)

So, some plots were good, actually. Let's start with Alex receiving Rosa Blasi for a job interview. Luke gives some advice to anyone, because each are stuck in a role. Alex is the sceptical, Claire is the control freak, Haley is a woman child and Phil is a dreamer. But each does have the specific role he/she needs. To be honest, Luke is the cynical and it's very good. Phil believes he helped a Russian spy during the cold war but i liked how he and Alex were close.

Meanwhile, Dylan and Haley want to have fun until some accident happen and reveals during the exam, Haley's pregnancy. Awful.

As for Jay , this week, he has to help Gloria in the first soccer's match, who turns out to be Joe's some lines were good, like Jay who says he is not afraid until Gloria destroys a ball. Meanwhile, Mitch grew attached to Cam's chicken then loses it. Actually, this was the only plot really connected to Thanksgiving.

Notes :

- French title : Ma poulette adorée (My beloved Chicken)
- Production code : 10ARG07
- Reid turned 30 when the episode aired. Adam DeVine turned 35 , though he did not appear in this episode.
- No Manny Or Lilly in this episode.
- Alex finally got a job, but it had nothing to do with arts (sadly, she performed Somewhere over the rainbow's first measures to Jay in 10.03)

Kids These Days (10.08/28-11-2018)

I really disliked this one so, it will be quickly resumed. In it, Phil and Mitchell stop at a bar where they meet Gil Thorpe who is now gay. Yep.

The press release erroneously said that Mitch and Cam met their new neighbor in 5.12, as finally Mitch was the only one to interact with him, because Cam was at high school. Same mistake here. It's been said Phil attends Manny's sensitivity class with Jay and Cameron. But finally, just the two latters attend and Manny only appears in one scene.

Claire feels jealous to Gloria (yep, reharsh) because Alex needs her for design's advice while Haley rejects Dylan's proposal. Very stupid.

Notes :

- French title : Le frère que je n'ai pas eu (The brother i did not have)
- Steven W Bailey who plays a biker was the janitor in Community 2.02
- No Luke, Lilly or Joe in this one
- Principal Brown makes the narration. Andy made the same in 5.06

10.09 Les belles promesses .jpg

Putting Down Roots (10.09/05-12-2018)

This episode was previously untitled "The Tree of Strifes", i really liked it. It can be considered as a 10.05 Sequel.

So, in 7.21, Claire and Mitch's stepdad was named Carl, but now his name is Jerry since the same previous 10.05. Jerry gives Claire and Jay and Mitch their inheritance.

Mitch obtains some jewel's box, Claire has a car and Jay has... nothing. But wait, Dede was cremated and her ashes have to go at someone's place. Let it be Mitchell. Dede's ashes were transplanted into a tree and Mitch decides to garden, until he breaks his ankle. This also lets him to reconsider Cam's offer to live in Missouri (and of course, Cam is very happy to learn about it).

Meanwhile, Claire and Phil embark for a ride journey and while listening to Born to Be Wild, Phil learns that Claire lost her virginity in the car itself, so for once, he is angry. As for Haley, Alex and Luke, they play with some toys. Haley confesses her siblings she is pregnant from Dylan (who is absent in this episode) and she ends their dispute when Luke admits he cheated in order to prevent Alex from winning an enigma he resolved himself.

Jay and Gloria stay with Jerry (Ed Begley Jr, 7th Heaven) who is alone and has nowhere to go. It turns out Jay actually tried to do his best in order to make Gloria's cousins leave. I laughed when he accused Joe (on french track, he says that now, since the week is gone, they can hug him while in english, he is more severe and says that they can forbid him to play outside). Can Jerry's advice be good ? Yes, for Jay.

Notes :

- Production code : 10ARG10
- No Manny or Joe in this one, though Joe is mentioned
- French title : Les belles promesses (Beautiful promises)
- Jerry is vegetarian, and according to him, vegan must try deodorant (not nice)

Stuck in a Moment (10.10/12-12-2018)

So, the sixth episode about Christmas. In it, Luke apparently ignores that Haley and Dylan will have a kid. Not Alex, who is very stressed about it. Meanwhile, Claire steals some gifts in order to prevent Phil to sail some house, while Luke helps his dad. But, there is some others problems.

First, Jay and co have to bear nasty visitors, i mean spiders. I expected better choice, seriously. And Mitch and Cam refuse to buy Lilly a cellphone, very basic.

Notes :

- French title : L'agent immobilier qui sauva Noël (The real state who saved Christmas)
- Production code : 10ARG09
- Luke and Joe both suffered from food poisoning in the past, according to this episode. Claire is such a terrible cook she could not receive anyone at home, but since Jay's place was invaded...
- Last episode to air in 2018

A Moving Day (10.11/09-01-2019)

A disaster. Seriously... So, this episode talks about Haley and Dylan's possibility to move out from the house. What did you expect ? Meanwhile, Manny has a story in which he once again feels the unfavourite to Gloria and Jay and Mitch fears the worst when Cam's sister Pam finally is free to go from jail ...

Notes :

- French title : La famille d'abord (Family first)
- Production code : 10ARG12
- No Alex, Luke or Joe in that one. All were missed.
- Pam's last appearance as well as Cal's.

bandicam 2024-01-14 11-27-04-489.jpg

Blasts from the Past (10.12/16-01-2019)

Also a disaster. In it, Phil and Claire's virtual Italy's trip was cool. But not the rest, as they learned Haley and Dylan expected twins, now they meet Rachel Bay Jones as Farrah, Dylan's mom who Phil met previously as a topless. Yep.

Meanwhile, Mitch and Cam also had a story involving a gym magazine, so lame that i actually did not remember, while Manny dated a woman named Gretchen (was he supposed to have a girlfriend ? ) and Jay and Gloria discover both a story about one the other's ancestry.

Notes :

- Production code : 10ARG11
- French title : La vérité est ailleurs (Truth is elsewhere, actually the french title is the same than House 3.02)
- No Alex or Luke in this one, though Alex is mentioned. Both were missed.
- Claire speaks Italian, like Julie in real life.
- Haley's 200th

10.13 Nouvelles technologies pour les nuls.jpg

Whanex ? (10.13/23-01-2019)

So, this episode is atypical because Mitchell remains the only one until the very end, to have scenes at his place.

Cameron is supposed to give some speech according career day and invites Haley, Alex, Luke and Manny to speak about it. However, he also has to avoid some bully who is not other than Principal Brown (in his last episode) while Mitchell is the guy who stays home and has to pose as a caterer for his boss.

Meanwhile, Claire and Jay continue their association with Ezra Vision, the electronical closet company. Guess we never see them again, and neither see Lou, but Mia makes a last appearance four episodes later. The reason ? Jay is homesick and can't stand that.

Phil, Gloria and Joe are at a mall for an family portrait, which was funny.

Notes :

- No Lilly in this one. And Gloria finally goes back to college in order to follow Phil's classes
- Like 5.08, Phil and Claire only share the tag scene
- Luke's 200th
- French title : Nouvelles générations pour les nuls (New Generation for Dummies)
- Production code : 10ARG13

bandicam 2024-01-14 11-28-19-368.jpg

We Need to Talk About Lily (10.14/30-01-2019)

We especially need to talk about some stupids plots. Think about. In it, Mitch and Cam have to discuss about Lilly's favourite idol. Guess they spoiled her so much that i disliked it. Some positive point, Isabella Coben as the vlogger Lilly is supposed to like, appears in this episode. Her mom is Jane Leeves (in real life).

Meanwhile, Jay had to take Stella to the vet again, much to Gloria's frustration and Phil had to sale a house to Pepper. As for Claire and Alex, Bill showed up. What was this visit's motive ?

Notes :

- French title : Nous devons parler de Lilly
- No Haley, Luke or Joe in this one.
- Production code : 10ARG14
- Pepper's last appearance in this episode, curiously.
- Manny only appears in the teaser of this episode

10.15 L'enterrement de vie de baby shower.jpg

Supershowerbabybowl (10.15/20-02-2019)

So, the big day arrived. Hmm wait, not yet. It's just Haley's babyshower organized by Alex, Claire and Gloria. But on the same day, the superbowl happened at Jay's place. Phil, Luke and Cam went to Superbowl while Mitchell went to the babyshower. Lilly stays because she is punished and Joe stays because he lives here.

Soon after that, Manny shows up. He is angry at Phil because Phil agreed to play in his movie, but can't just respect the script, while Haley and Dylan arrive a few moment later.

Notice that because of some quiproquos, Dylan flees away. As Luke (and probably Joe) try to keep Haley occuped (i wish more scenes between all of them), Alex divises a plan. Manny and Phil have to search for Dylan (Alex even threatens Manny, guess she loves her sister) and so must Jay and Cam (who had to make Chili) with Lilly, and Mitch and Gloria (who testified against some drug baron) while Claire and Alex stay home.

Notes :

- Production code : 10ARG15
- In English, Dylan is mistaken for Dillon by Cameron (when he refers to this, it's an herb, not a spice) but in French, Cam says actually Haley does not always make the good choices (but he speaks about something else, while Dylan falsely believes it's about him).
- French title : L'enterrement de vie de baby shower
- Dylan lives in a van, while he stayed at the Dunphies's previously. Also, the majority takes place at Jay's house, with the two other houses appearing in a few interview scenes
- Only time Lily refers to Phil as her uncle.

10.16 Alerte rouge.jpg

Red Alert (10.16/27-02-2019)

An amusing one. Phil suffers from sleep's problems because... He actually does not know why. So, when he has to film a promote publicity for a house, Luke has to accompain him. Actually, i liked it very much. I was less fan of Haley's plot. Phil previously had to attend some prenatal classes with her because Dylan had to work. Oh, Dylan also appears in this episode.

Also, Claire had some problems at work and Alex helps . Actually, she wanted to leave. Some Cookies's Boss was fired and a seat was available for her, but she just could find the courage to tell it to Jay but now Jay retired and this time for good. He wants to create personnalized dog's baskets.

And Mitch and Cam decide to reassure Lilly about her first cycle (notice she only appears physically in two scenes, only) and rallies the women clan and a surprising visitor...

Notes :

- Phil becomes the only parent who has a major role in every episode, with this one. Jay and Gloria only appear in two scenes and their house is never seen.
-Mitch and Cam are the only ones who share scenes with all their family member. They also don't leave their home.
- No Joe in this one. Manny only appears in a very short scene, he is the visitor
- Production code : 10ARG16
- Julie's directorial debut (she also directed 11.08)
- French title : Alerte rouge

bandicam 2024-01-14 11-28-57-077.jpg

The Wild (10.17/13-03-2019)

I'm mixed about this one. A gender bender one. So, the boys accompain Jay in order to see an eagle bald. It turns out they did not see it, but they were forced to share a cabin and confide about their fears. Phil now hates silence and is very chatty, while Cam feels so insecure he has to change clothes everytime. Mitch believes a stupid prediction while Jay fears to be a burden. To be honest, i loved the ending.

But the girls's plot was meh. Actually, Gloria, Alex and Claire had to help Haley with some shower again and i really hated it.

Notes :

- French title : L'homme est un ours pour l'homme (The man is a bear for the man)
- Production code : 10ARG17
- No Luke, Manny, Joe or Lilly in this one, though the latter is mentioned by Cam. This was the final episode in which all those characters were absent. In future, some missed and some not.

10.18 Question de virilité.jpg

Stand By Your Man (10.18/20-03-2019)

Very good one, about manliness.

So, it starts with Mitch and Cam's anniversary. Mitch forgot and the teaser was the shortest one. So, Mitch catchs up and shows up the next day at Cam's cow-boy place, it was very funny. Meanwhile, Phil invited Luke, Dylan and Bill to a very male night because he paid for Luke's gasoline and the two others slept with his girls, but he had some difficulties to be a model for them. I loved that part, but to be honest, this should have been better with Andy instead of Dylan.

Also, Jay receives some help from his clan after he got selected in order to appear in a TV Show while Claire was forced to babysit Lilly (guess at her age, she still needs to.)

Notes :

- Production code : 10ARG20
- Haley and Alex were absent in this episode, though they were mentioned
- French title : Question de virilité (A question of manliness)
- Manny, Lilly and Joe appear in a few scenes.

10.19 La positive attitude.jpg

Yes Woman (10.19/03-04-2019)

So, this episode has the same french title as 5.09 with reversed words (La positive attitude).

It starts with Cam and Mitch who decide to slow down some evenings, because it makes them tired. So, they hold a compromise. Cam goes alone while Mitch attends some boring sessions among elders. Finally, Cam's lack of sleep make him delirious. By the way, they were funny.

Meanwhile, Phil paid Alex a visit to Caltech and could not really understand why she was not happy to see him. To be honest, me neither. But this was a great plot. And as Claire decided to be more gentle, she found Luke being Janice's boyfriend. Janice is Claire's yoga teacher (Amy Pietz), you know, and Jay, Gloria and Manny were also enrolled in that quiproquo, but that was excellent.

Notes :

- Production code : 10ARG19
- No Haley, Joe or Lilly in this one, (though the latter was mentioned by Mitch and Cam)
- Guests : Charles Schaughnessy (the nanny) as Dr Stieglietz and Casey Burke (The Middle) as Tina appear in this episode.
- Alex's 200th. She is the last character to reach out that number.

Can't Elope (10.20/10-04-2019)

Man, why were not just those four , the Dunphy family ? While did they create Haley ? In this episode, she believed she could give birth, but not yet, not before she pops the question (to be honest, Dylan tried at least six times and she rejected, at least she says what she wants). I 've personnally just found in a straight couple a man has to propose to a woman and it's very worse when some events are retconned (@John95 hello :) this words make me think about Please Jeff American dad episode). But anyway, Haley and Dylan want elope but Dylan's family like Jack Axelrod or even Phil's father Frank shows up (and Claire looks very exasperated and he calls Dylan Andy but still).

Meanwhile, Jay met some crazy dog fan (Thomas Lennon) while Cam and Mitch had to make a choice between two events, either the wedding or a musical, yup, this was strange.

Notes :

- French title : Un mariage qui a du chien (A very seduction mariage, if i base myself on that expression)
- Production code : 10ARG18
- Bagpipes helped Bill's mom to have an happy marriage.

10.21 Chouette, des diplômes !.jpg

Commencement (10.21/01-05-2019)

What a strange title for the almost final season 10. But still. The whole family has to attend two events. The first is one in which Cam has to pronounce a speech in place of Brown. Jay is invited too but it's revealed that in 1972, he caused a forest accident and now he is booed. Meanwhile, Manny learns about corruption when he sees Gloria giving a watch to Joe's karate teacher.

At the Dunphies, Phil meets a third rival, while he and Claire praise Alex (who only appears at the last minute), making Haley and Luke very uncomfortable, but it was hilarious to see Luke acting like a child. It was sad, because Alex's graduation day happened next and she just ignored what to do in her life. Meanwhile, Mitchell has to practice trumpet, which was very funny.

To be honest, i don't understood while Dylan appeared in this episode, i'm not fan of the character, but here, he was more than useless.

Notes :

- French title : Chouette, des diplômes ! (Cool, diplomas)
- Production code : 10ARG21

10.22 Une année d'anniversaires.jpg

A Year of Birthdays (10.22/08-05-2019)

What an original way to end this episode.

So, it actually talks about every character's birthday. Notice Phil is the only one not to have an interview scene, among the main characters. So, for his 50th , he does not know what comes next (51 of course) and searches to learn Spanish (he knew in season 2) , piano and monocycle. I also liked some plots like Luke's too short (but still hilarious) to flirt with a lesbian, Alex's drunk and Mitch wanting to be alone , but some were sad such as Claire's who is seen as a stressed woman, Manny (who was rejected by Sherry), Lilly's (who was spoiled by Manny) , Joe (who was spoiled by Phil, although not intentionnally) and Cam (yep, Cam's was spoiled by some events). Of course, Haley's was useless, as she finally becomes a mom in that one. And i disliked Jay's one with all the roasts, found it cruel.

Notes :

- French title : Une année d'anniversaires
- Production code : 10ARG22
- Final season to have 22 episodes, the next and last only had 18
- Say hello to your mom for me and goodbye to Shorty who left the show after that one.

So, season 11

New Kids on The Block (11.01/25-09-2019)

So, they even borrowed a Simpson title. Time flew and now, Phil and Claire must adapt to their new grandparent status, while Dylan and Haley are parenting. Meanwhile, Alex is still stuck in Antarctica and Jay and Gloria recruit Manny's ex Sherry for an add. Manny has to follow Gloria's advice if he wants Sherry back as Mitch receives some delinquents invited by Cameron... Very average one.

Notes :

- French title : Vos parents ont tout fait de travers (Your parents messed up)
- Production code : 11ARG01
- Reid joins the main cast (grrr) but thankfully, he never appears in the intro, just his name. Which is odd, since he appears in half on the episodes, approximately.
- Luke, Lilly, Joe and Dylan appear in this episode, but they're less presents.

11.02 Pétage de plomb.jpg

Snapped (11.02/02-10-2019)

A very good one. Sometimes, snap is good.

Let's start with Mitch and Cam. They received some new fridge that week. A kind of talking fridge (voiced by Tara Strong) which apparently creates a rift between them. Awesome.

Meanwhile, Phil is very mean to Gloria during college time (strangely, Gloria is depicted as very weak and whines, as she was apparently crazy and choleric in others plots) and prefers to favor Molly Ephraim as Libby. But, then Libby disappears and Phil believes he is responsible because he pushed Gloria and she got revenge. Oh, and the title of that episode refers to a show he used to watch in order to relax.

As for Claire, she pretends she is sick in order to have the house for herself, but it was much more complicate between Haley and Dylan's irresponsability, Alex who came home and found herself stuck in a cool store and Luke splurdged with ice cream while still dating Janice. It still was funny to see.

Notes :

- Some references to Hey Arnold Nanny episode (which sucked) in that one.
- Production code : 11ARG02
- French title : Pétage de plombs
- Last episode where we see Phil acting as a college teacher. Possible he resigned after that.
- This episode , is a rare episode, where we almost do not see Jay. He only appears in a flashback (and says "Quoi" (what) in french, but nothing in english. In this flashback, we also see Luke at his debut. Never knew if it was extracted from a real episode or just a deleted scene. ) and the very end, at the tag , and it's been said he was vacationing at Québec.
- No Manny, Lilly and Joe in that one.

11.03 Une paire parfaite.jpg

Perfect Pairs (11.03/09-10-2019)

Again, a very good one. In this episode, Phil, Claire, Alex and Luke all agree to take care of Haley's twins (oh, their names are Poppy and George, btw) and give Dylan and Haley a day off (i wish they could be absent too, but this episode, but unfortunately, it was not the case). However, each of them starts to use them for their personal profit. Remember when Phil crumbled under pressure in 8.16 ? Well it's still the case here, but this time, in the opposite way. This time, he fears he could not be as strong as he was the previous year and got rewarded as the guy who only has free cocktails. So, he practices magic while Claire poses as the twin's mom while trying to bond with a woman at a yoga gym club. (Julie's feet).

Elsewhere, Alex needs to do some groceries and so does Luke. Alex needs her license she does not find, because Luke stole her in order to make him older and to buy some wine (the wine's museum Joke). Man, all were very cleaver in that one.

Meanwhile, Mitch and Cam do have some new neighbors, the perfect gay couple Brad and Paul (Christopher Gorham and Matthew Wilkas) who also adopted Vera, their afro american girl. Soon, they begin to feel inferior because it seems Brad and Paul are better than them. Mitch tries to be more a sports man while Cam reconnects with his museum visitor's side. But it was very nice.

Jay and Co's had the weakest story. Sonia visits again and is about to marry someone, and at the same time, Jay bonds with the gardner and tries to make miniplane. Yep.

Notes :

- French title : Une paire parfaite
- Paul (Matthew Wilkas) is voiced by François Pacôme who voiced Bulldog and Kirby in Frasier.
- No Joe in this episode
- Sonia's last one
- Notice Gary, the single dad who tries to bond with the women, a classic
- Production code : 11ARG04
- This is the final time each family have a separate plot.

Pool Party (11.04/16-10-2019)

This episode sucked. In short, Claire takes her daughters to her job, Jay tries to feel more powerful because Gloria is the winnerbread now, and Mitch and Cam boost Lilly's confidence while taking her to a gay event. Bad.

The Last Halloween (11.05/30-10-2019)

I loved that one. So, as the title suggests, the Family celebrates a last Halloween on screen. In it, Phil wants to prove Claire he can makes her scary. But he himself as to deal with an elderly woman he is afraid of. Meanwhile, Alex and Luke dine at restaurant, each one with the person he/she loves.

But it turns out their meals don't go as they planned. Luke admits to Janice he pulled a prank some years ago, but the prank costed Janice's own couple and she dumps him. Meanwhile, Bill's phone died so he borrowed one of his colleagues who actually asked Alex to send some pictures of her boobs, and Alex agreed causing Bill to break up with her. I did not like the "moral speech", but it was pleasant to see Alex and Luke together.

Elsewhere, Jay's taste for food reappeared as he finally found the chocolate bar he loved during his childhood. The bar was so rare that he and Manny tried to search for it. Notice Manny is Freud, now. But they were not the only ones during that night. Gloria dressed up as a character of Frozen realizes that for the first time, people understand that she is Jay's wife and participate at a drag queen's contest without knowing it, while Mitch and Cam dressed up as Judge Judy (juge clinquant in french, flashy judge if i translate) still wonder if Lilly will have a good Halloween's party. I wish i saw more advice from her dads, but still brilliant.

Notes :

- French title : Même pas peur (Not even afraid at all)
- Production code : 11ARG06
- No Haley, Dylan or Joe in this episode (not missed) though Joe was mentioned
- Ragtime : Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf is heard during this episode (see also TZ 2.11)
- Bill and Janice exit.

A Game of Chicken (11.06/06-11-2019)

Here was a one i particularly liked for a plot, the main.

So, let's start with Phil wanting to make some creative business. Luke comes and tells him that he makes a very good one. In fact, Luke compliments him in order to quit college because he and his buddy Scooter developed a medical app. It turns out at first Phil is okay with that, but not Claire. That's until she meets Scooter. Unlike they thought, Scooter is at least 40 and after they made the project Phil and Claire's roles are reversed. But this was good to make a last plot involving Phil and Luke together and it even inspired Claire to finally quit Jay's company.

Elsewhere, Haley and Dylan left the twins at Jay and Gloria's place in order to let them baptized, though they were unsure, but Gloria was. Amusing facts : Jay can't remember Dylan's name, the priest who is older than Jay and the cane he has makes us remember Martin's in Frasier.

As for Mitch and Lilly, they have to protect Cam again because the mascot copies all of his gestures. Meh.

Notes :

- French title : Le Phil conducteur (The Phil's thread)
- Production code : 11ARG05
- No Alex, Manny or Joe in that one (though Alex was mentioned). This made Lilly the only character to appear in every Mrs Pasternak episodes. Pasternak also exits.

The Last Thanksgiving (11.07/13-11-2019)

So, as the title said, it's the last time they celebrate it. To be honest, i found some plots good, some bad.

Let's start with the bad. Dylan agrees to join Phil and Jay during the plane's sessions and Phil ends up injured, but also manages to understand that a dad still resents his (future or not) son in law. Personnally, i liked how Phil defended Alex.

Yup, apparently, this year, Haley had an epiphany and she asked Alex, Luke and Manny to help her in order to make the perfect meal. But since they were unable to do it alone, they asked Neil (Alex's ex, a chief) to come, and the guy was very nasty. This one was good.

Meanwhile , as Manny had a new unseen girlfriend named Jessica, Joe acted cheeky towards Claire , who, at the same time, was used by Gloria in order to make all chores while a quiproquo let Mitchell and Cameron's friends think they could divorce. This one was average.

Notes :

- French title : En cas de divorce (If ever divorce)
- Production code : 11ARG10
- Ptolemy's first one, he also appears in the finale
- No Lilly in that one.
- Alex is so gorgeous.
- Dylan's 50th one.

11.08 Le don de soi.jpg

Tree's A Crowd (11.08/04-12-2019)

So, Julie directs an episode for the second and last time, and it was pleasant to see.

In it, we see Claire and Phil playing matchmakers for Farrah (Dylan's mom) and Jerry (Claire's stepdad). The fact they were both kisser/hugger was great. Jerry also growed a beard in that one.

Gloria asked Luke to help Manny to get Sherry back. He reluctantly obliged but then kissed her after he realized how much she meant to him. This infuriated Manny and Jay's speech was particularly shallow. But the story had some good moments.

Meanwhile, Mitch and Cam met a lesbian pair and agreed to play a sperm donor for them. Just a question : Which one ?

Notes :

- French title : Le don de soi (Giving a part of ourselves)
- Production code : 11ARG07
- No Haley, Alex, Lilly, Joe or Dylan in that one (not missed) though the three latters were mentioned.
- Manny became the only kid featured in every Farrah and Sherry's episode, while Luke became the only kid to be featured in every Jerry's ones. Jerry, Farrah and Sherry all exited after that one, though the two latters were briefly mentioned.

The Last Christmas (11.09/11-12-2019)

This episode was about Christmas at Mitch and Cam's place. But Christmas began with Cam wanting to make a table plan. But finally, he renounced. So, the whole family gathered and each of them argued about various reasons. Jay wanted to employ Claire in his company while Alex saw Gloria discussing with Evan and Midge, and probably leaving Phil.

Elsewhere, Mitch and Cam may leave for Missouri (thanks Haley for snooping) while Manny and Luke felt like rivals because of Sherry (did not like the way their story turned).

Notes :

- French title : Le dernier Noël
- Production code : 11ARG09
- In this episode, it foreshadows the family's future departures
- First time all characters interact since 10.22
- Last one aired on 2019
- Almost every scenes take place at Mitch and Cam, a few at the Dunphy and one at a bar.
- Midge and Evan exit.
