Last Simpsons Episode You Watched

Sideshow Bob Roberts: 9.25/10 -- A

I didn't enjoy it as much as the past few times (I've seen it 3 times in the past 2 months), but that's probably because I knew all the jokes and such, so I won't let my over watching detract from the grade. But I did notice this time that the plot did sorta waste time at points and it didn't seem as interesting as it has on past viewings, but once again this is probably down to over watching again. So some minor plot problems, but it is absolutely hilarious and everything else was pretty much perfect.

Homer Goes to College - 7.5/10 (Am I one of the only people who kinda got sick of Homer in this episode?)

Margical History Tour - 6/10

Itchy & Scratchy & Marge -- A
The Otto Show -- A
Bart's Friend Falls In Love -- B
Dumbbell Indemnity -- C

Just bought the season 12 DVD!

Treehouse of Horror XI - 4/5
Meh. I liked the "Scary Tales Can Come True" segment alot.

A Tale of Two Springfields - 5/5
Awesome episode. The appearance of The Who was awesome as well.

Insane Clown Poppy - 4/5
It was alright, but not too great. Krusty has a daughter?

Lisa the Tree Hugger - 4/5
Great episode revolving around Lisa.

Homer vs. Dignity - 5/5
Was pretty funny to see Homer humiliate himself in front of hundreds of people. "Baby made a boom-boom" LOL

I watched the first disc yesterday and completely agree with all your ratings. The producers must have known the "boom boom" joke was funny because they put it in the credits too. Also, the Burning Man joke in Lisa The Tree Hugger was hilarious.

Two Bad Neighbours - 7.5/10 Relatively weak for Season 7 and the classic era, mainly due to plot issues, but it still managed to be an entertaining episode.

Hungry, Hungry Homer - 4/5
Watched this before I went to sleep. Very good.
It was different to see Homer fight against his will to eat.
I enjoyed the Blockoland bit in the beginning though.

Boy, was Maggie ever so desperate to get going.

Am I the only one who finds this to be sweet and cute?

Season 12 Disc 2, baby!

-Computer Wore Menace Shoes: A. Solid episode with a terrific ending. ""Look's like the dog's happy to see you too!" (Gas Blast)" In a way, Homer predicted blogs.
-Great Money Caper: B-. This episode is insanely hilarious. From the magic show at the beginning, to the end. "Surf's Up!" Sure, it was a little weird, so I lowered the grade a bit.
-Skinner's Sense Of Snow: A+. This felt like a gold age episode. Some of the best parts are the movie Skinner shows the kids, and "Chew through my ball sack!"
-HOMR: C+. Pretty darn bad. The anime scene at the start is pointless, except for the line"Your laughter is wrong!" It follows an extremely linear plot, and only has a few good jokes. It doesn't even succeed in being emotional!
-Pokey mom: D. Worst. Episode. Ever! Actually, that honor goes to either Bart's Inner Child or Dish Upon A Star. The gags here are very weak and the ending was pointless! The only funny stuff was the window gag and the gun cocking. And maybe the Side Show bob part.
-The Worst Episode Ever: B. This episode, despite the title, is pretty good. I love the idea of Bart and Milhouse doing a VHS midnight screening, and Mr. Rogers Drunk is one of the best Simpsons jokes ever. "Whatddaya mean I can't take off mah sweater? I'm HOT!!!"

Edit: Oh Crap! Double post.

El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer - 8/10 Some really impressive animation, but the plot and the humour weren't good enough to make this episode an excellent one.

Tennis the Menace - 3/10 (Eurgh!)
Thursdays with Abie - 4.5/10 (Was it really that necessary to make the newspaper guy a killer? Seriously)

Treehouse of Horror V - 8.5/10 I don't normally like Treehouse of Horror episodes, but I enjoyed this one. The firstsegment was great (5/5), the second segment was great (5/5), and the third segment was not as good (3/5), but was made up for by the first two segments being some of the best THOH segments ever made.

THOH V -- B

Maybe I've seen this one too much, but this just didn't interest me. Not really surprising considering I usually dislike Thohs and usually avoid them, but I've seen better THOHs than this. 7 minutes just isn't enough time to create a compelling story, and it showed here. The Shinning was paced badly and generally not funny. Time and Punishment was the best one, but not hilarious and not particularly interesting. Nightmare Cafeteria was good but great... I'd actually argue it was the funniest of the 3. How people have this in their top 10 lists I'll never know.
