Hi everyone!. The Simpsons are losing ratings over the years with every new season. But how could the show go back to having high ratings like before?, It would be hiring expert writers who really know how to write a Simpsons episode, also some changes in the executive production, among other things that would make The Simpsons recover its essence that they had in the 90's and go back to being funny like in the classic era, saving the show from a possible cancellation. And what do you think about it?. What would the production of The Simpsons do to regain that lost rating?.

it wont. but it wont get cancelled either. just gradually get less and less relevant each year. which is basically whats already been happening for a long time.

It's never gonna be like it was in the 90s because times have changed and Simpsons no longer reflects an average family struggling to afford cable or a single bonestorm game, they can just buy Bart a top of the line gaming system and pay to go to any country they want.

Impossible even if the Simpsons were to miraculously become as good it was in the classic era as television and the world have changed.

It never will. But that doesn’t matter anymore because of changing tv habits. As long as they keep selling merchandise and getting views on Disney+, it’ll stay on the air.

won't happen.. there's too much content available. This is the new normal.

It feels weird that the show has essentially reached the point where the TV ratings of it really doesn't matter for it anymore.

Streaming services are getting all of the views, and their viewership has been falling for a long time, so it will never average 5m per year again.
