I love this show. Based on "The Amanda Show", and one of the only live-action "sitcoms" that Nickelodeon made that I happened to like. This show was also made in the wake of the fall of Nick as well, so I was surprised to learn this was a good show. Anyone else here love this show? It's currently on Netflix, and I'm watching every episode. Movie wasn't very good, though, and the tail-end of the show had that "new Nick" vibe. The early episodes (seasons one to the middle of three) were definitely the best, I was cracking up at it last night.

great show (seasons 1 and 2). but when josh lost all that weigh, that was it for me.

He got thin in mid-season 3 I think, but then he started looking like a weird bulky guy in season 4. Still an okay, if not good show after that though.

Love this rant:
"Ya want some more Ginger Ale? Yeah, Chad can't enough of his precious Ginger Ale, oh no! I'll tell ya what, Chad. Why don't I call up the Ginger Ale headquarters, have 'em back up a tanker truck to your mouth, so Chad can suck Ginger Ale 'til there's no more Ginger Ale for the rest of the Earth's population!"

Man this was nicks last good live action show before they became a second disney channel. It was so funny and i thought the entire series was fine except for the christmas movie it felt very different compared to the series.

The Christmas movie was okay for what it was. I actually heard that they stopped making this show because Miranda Cosgrove (Megan Parker) decided to star in her own show (iCarly) so that show may be indirectly responsible for killing this show. Might be okay though, since it was getting on, and I wouldn't want it to over-stay its welcome. iCarly sucks, though. Bad.

Netflix is really aggravating me! They're missing five episodes, one happening to me my favorite episode! (Dune Buggy)

This show meant the end of Nickelodeon for me. Zoey 101 marks the beginning of the dreadful horror we come upon today

Great show otherwise

Funny, I saw Megan's First Kiss on Nick a few days ago.

I remember watching this show alot. This aired before Nick slowly became a Disney Channel clone(which itself became "MTV for kids").

This was a great show, this was the only live action (along with a few animated shows) that I was still watching on Nick on a regular basis. It's pretty sad Nick along with plenty of other cable networks have decided to be sell outs and go "mainstream" just following what everyone else is doing instead of being original. I haven't watched Drake and Josh in a couple of years so I'll probably have to one of these days.

it used to be on a lot more than most episodes, or at least it seemed like that to me. it's one of the only episodes that makes me laugh on repeated viewings at everything i originally laughed at.

also liked The Storm, even if that was pretty much a huge time-filler

Drake and Josh was a great show. It never truly died horrifically, but some of its later episodes were starting to be a little weak with the acting in it. Josh Peck was great for the first couple of seasons, but it seemed that after he lost so much weight, his acting was burned as well. iCarly is okay. The first two were okay, again, but since the third, they've featured way too many stupid children show gags that make the show less likable, and the drama throughout the last few have really drained the quality of it.

From what I've seen from iCarly, it can be very grating. I remember the Fred episode where Freddie gets hated on by the entire world for not liking a freaking web celebrity. And the episode where Carly makes a big deal out of dating a guy with a strange interest/hobby. And I can never get into Victorious. It just seems like a reason why I would call new Nick a Disney clone.

I may be going off-topic, but does anyone remember Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide? I remember liking its cartoon vibe (it had cartoon sound effects and the absurd running gag of the Janitor trying to chase after a loose weasel) and I would consider it and Drake and Josh to be the only great or at least good live-action Nick shows of the mid-to-late 2000's.

iCarly has more misses than hits for me. The characters can be really unlikable at times, specifically Sam.

Victorious, I think, is actually decent. The only grating thing is the ventriloquist dummy.

Funny, I've only seen iCarly a couple of times, but Sam was about the only one I could kinda tolerate seeing. I found everyone else to be even more annoying especially Carly's brother.

Seen it a couple of times on Nick as a kid, a couple more times and after that I sort of lost interest in it. It was a decent show from what I can remember but it's appeal is lost on me in today's times.

I liked "Ned's Declassified..." back then. Ironically I started and ended my middle school years during the same time the series ran. Like Drake and Josh I haven't seen it in years
