Season 80 Episode 13: A Brief Interlude: Comic Book Guy's Math Hut XIII

Comic Book Guy finally finds out what 2 equals, and speculates on the first thing Bart will say when he has materialized enough.

chalkboard gag: "Segmentation Fault (core dumped)" written once on a blackboard by nobody.

couch gag: the family sits on the couch snugly, popping off the cushions like in Season 1, but instead of Bart there is a second small, red Homer, which represents his mild irratation at Bart's death.

Crash Test Mommy
Marge tries to convince Springfield people with longer hair can survive car crashes compared to their bald friends; Duffman becomes a MMA champ, accidentally.

One Crash Landed under the Springfield Gate Bridge
Homer decides living under a bridge is strangely relaxing, despite the bum fights; SLH eats a roll of aluminum foil and when Bart cleans up SLH’s “leavings”, he mistakes them for proof of extraterrestrial life.

Sickey Mouse
Homer thinks his positive Covid result is a conspiracy theory created by Dr. Hibbert; Vin Diesel moves to Springfield to become a family therapist, only to annoyed by Lisa.

Season 79 Episode 392 Frinkleberry

Frink finally figures out how to divide by zero. The episode follows everyone as the world crumbles

A Bad Day for Martin

Martin really ticks off Jimbo, Dolph, and Kearney so they corner him during recess and pummel, stab, and cripple Martin. This goes on for 30 minutes with the only dialogue being Martin's pleas for mercy and the insults that the bullies let out.

The only noises besides the dialogue are the noises of Martin's ribs being audibly snapped and his gasps for breath slowly getting weaker and weaker until he's out cold.

The episode ends with Martin getting a detention for coughing up blood on the floor, which is completely unacceptable in the eyes of the school.

Season 45 finale (series finale)

The Simpsons FINALLY reach 1,000 episodes, but now the show is ending because the writers break the fourth wall and tell the family that they're DONE with the Simpsons franchise. The family tries everything to stay on the air, but Fox prevents this; they're done too.

There's a montage of what happens to all the major and recurring characters (with these fates being canon) and the family appears one last time saying goodbye to the audience in an emotional final scene, then the show fades to black.

"Preventing the Big Gorge Jump"

Homer goes back in time in Frink's time machine to stop his S2 self from jumping the Springfield Gorge, but instead makes S2 Homer successfully jump the gorge and returns to the present, only for the 2 Homers to find a rich Homer in a different timeline where he did jump the gorge! Can Modern Homer help S2 Homer fall down the gorge again before Rich Homer expands his empire outside of Springfield?

Couch Gag: The Simpsons try to do the circus line couch gag routine, but Lisa stops the couch gag and says "We done this one many times already." to the audience and of course, everyone except Lisa d'oh's.

"Don't Go Breaking My Art"
Homer and Marge's relationship is in a crisis after Homer falls in love with an rich painter (guest voiced by Margot Robbie) who painted a picture of a buff Homer, meanwhile, Lisa is teached by the same artist to learn about the history of art in a random musical number.

Couch Gag: Instead of the Simpsons sitting on the couch, It's all the characters that stayed for a while in the Simpsons home that sit on it.

"Hey Look! A Clip Show of Guest Stars!"
A clip show highlighting a bunch of guest stars that played themselves on the show, featuring a supercut of every "Look, It's (guest star)!" and "What are you doing here?" belted out. Guest hosted by Jeff Goldblum himself.

Couch Gag: A bunch of new guest stars sit on the couch.

"The Meaning of A Couch"
In a 22 minute couch gag, the couch itself speaks and tells us the history of how it came to be sat on, Moe's Rag style. Meanwhile, the gun who shot Mr. Burns, Marge's bowling ball, one of Moe's stools, and the sailboat picture go on a quest Brave Little Toaster style.

God And The Internet:
Reverend Lovejoy, disappointed that people are skipping church to binge watch shows on the Internet, decides to livestream the Sunday services online. It becomes somewhat of a success, but now more people than ever skip going to church, and despite Ned Flanders' best efforts to get more people into church, hilarity ensures as God condemns Lovejoy to hell for playing with the devil's toy.
The couch gag is just the family looking at Jesus who is dancing on their couch (yes, it's a reference to The Computer Wore Meance Shoes, I didn't forget it).

"The Real Deal"
Homer meets a man who moves in next to him and becomes a good friend. However, it then comes to light that the man has white skin (which he covers with yellow makeup) and five fingers per hand. The man eventually reveals to Homer that he is a fictional character on a TV show, and that the show is coming to an end - meaning Homer and the other characters will "die". Preferably no explanation for how this real man ended up in the fictional Simpsons world. It will be the last episode, either that or it could be a finale movie.

"Homer the Mansion Owner"
When Mr. Burns fakes his death, Homer knows that he'll get Burn's mansion, and has a good time owning it, but suddenly, Mr. Burns (after faking his death) wants the mansion back, and Homer doesn't know if he wants the mansion or his own house with his family, can Homer make a choice before Mr. Burns kicks him out of his mansion?

Couch Gag: The Simpsons try to get to the couch, but are eaten by the rug, before getting spat out by it.

"Future of Future Future"
We go into the future... again, where Bart sons are grown up and Old Bart's head is in a jar, and Bart's sons must gather all the future Simpsons relatives for one big family reunion, it does not go well, but luckily Future Lisa (who is still alive thanks to a medicine that could make you young again) saves it with a speech about family and stuff like that.

Couch Gag: The Simpsons run in, but get stopped by other versions of them from multiple past couch gags that sit on it instead.

"Who Shot Mr. Burns?... Again?"
Mr. Burns gets shot again, so the town of Springfield has to speculate who shot Mr. Burns again, with help from special guest star Post Malone, they find out who done it.. it was actually the Auto Sale Muffler Guy that actually shot Mr. Burns.

Couch Gag: The Simpsons run in as live-action puppets and sit on a live action prop couch.

I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but your idea here made me wonder: Has there ever been a cough gag where the Simpson family are portrayed as live-action humans? Because that would be hilarious.

There was, in the episode "Homer Simpson, This is Your Wife" (couch gag was also originally a promo for Sky One)

"Holidays of Horror"
In "Valen-Crimes", a parody of The Purge ensues, where the town of Springfield goes on a crime spree on Valentine's Day, doing Valentine-related crimes along the way. Then, in "The Cottontail-ing", Chief Wiggum is caught by a terrifying case of a bunny going around and spreading eggs that have a smell so bad, it kills people. And finally, in "How The Grumple Killed Christmas", The Grumple has enough of Springfield's Christmas parties and sets up to kill everyone that's involved in these parties, before getting his heart warmed up, but grow enough sizes to make him have a heart attack.

Couch Gag: The Simpsons sit on the couch, only for them to be blown up by Robot Santa from Futurama.

"That 2000's Show"
Basically an update of "That 90's Show", only with Homer making a emo-rock band instead of a grunge band, and all the 90's references being replaced by 2000's reference. Linkin Park guest star, replacing Weird Al's guest star spot in the original episode.

Couch Gag: The Simpsons are hopping to the couch on pogo sticks.

"There's No Business Like D'oh Business"
Homer gets into broadway, and becomes a star of a musical based around his life, which becomes a smash-hit. But when the musical goes up against a parody of La La Land, can Homer show off his singing skills? Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, and Bernadette Peters guest star, with the voice of Tim Curry as Homer's singing voice for the episode.

Couch Gag: The Simpsons pop up as zombies and start doing the "Thriller" dance for some seconds before sitting on the couch.

Big Homer-gus

Homer transforms into Big Chungus and destroys the entire universe, while Lisa tries to figure out why he did such a thing.

Special guest star: Lady Gaga

"Honey, I Shrunk The Simpson Family"
When Frink shrinks the Simpsons, the family have to make their way to Frink's growth ray while being small, but can the family face the dangers of giant-sized inventions from Frink while they're tiny?

Couch Gag: The Simpsons try to sit on the couch, but are ejected after sitting out of it, making them go flying towards the roof.

Okay, time for me to bump this thread and take a crack at coming up with the worst Simpsons episode imaginable. Let’s see…

“He Has Three Eyes and He D’ohs”
Homer falls into the Springfield lake which has been polluted by Mr. Burns and the radiation mutates him, giving him three eyes. Marge and Dr. Hibbert try to return him to normal.

Plus a shitty B-plot where Lisa has a crush on a new student at Springfield Elementary, but then her heart gets broken when she finds out he doesn’t agree with her political opinions or something stupid like that.

Guest stars: Tom Hanks as himself
Kelsey Grammer as Sideshow Bob (degrading 1-line cameo where he says something very out-of-character for a cheap joke and then a grand piano falls on him)

Cheesy Simpsons episodes let’s go
“Stickler on the roof”
Skinner is convinced by the superintendent to convert to Judaism, however in order to affiliate himself a circumcision is necessary, is Skinner willing to sacrifice his foreskin for newfound faith? Most importantly, will Agnes, a devout Christian, give her son the pass?
“Hans-stopper”
“No one’s gay for Moleman”? THINK AGAIN, when new face in town Chuck Drewfield is paired with Hans in a “2-buddy race”, it’s love at first sight. The only problem? Moleman’s internalized homophobia.
Guest star- James L Brooks as “Chuck Drewfield”
“Little Winners”
Bart and Millhouse sign up for a challenge hosted by famous influencer Mr Quiche, meanwhile Lisa does some sleuthing online, and begins to question the safety of his tournaments.
Guest star- Jimmy Donaldson as “Mr Quiche”

Jesus Christ this is so disturbing and hilarious at the same time I just can’t

"Bart Owns A Bear"
Bart gets a bear and tames it, but when the bear tries to fight back, can Bart fend it off?

Couch Gag: A recreation to the intro to King Of The Hill, With Homer, Lenny, Carl, and Barney as Hank and his friends.

"Party Posse Strikes Again"
The Party Posse strikes again, this time with more members! And a switch to K-Pop! But when an internet site spoofs them, can they mock them back with their music. BTS guest stars as themselves.

Couch Gag: The Simpsons are pirates and sit on the couch on their ship.

That would be a great "couch gag."
