But Bug was from 2006 or something and this episode aired way earlier. But they really have a lot of simulairities. Like when Bart want's to pull Lisa's tooth out and the aluminium. If you've seen 'Bug', you know what I'm talking about

Sherry Bobbins/Mary Poppins - I'M NOT EVEN GONNA TRY TO SPELL THE TITLE lol.
The psycho reference - Brother from the same planet.

Those are three that I love. Also, in A Fish called Selma I love the song in the Planet of the apes play: Dr. Zaius. But I guess that'd also be a song parody I guess, too.
