Whoa, I've made very little progress in two years. Two fascinating films, by the way.

Two new ones:

Barry Lyndon
Once upon a time in America
Schindler's list
Otto e mezzo
Ikiru
The sting
Sansho the Bailiff
Life is beautiful
Grapes of wrath
Lawrence of Arabia
Watched Barry Lyndon and Lawrence of Arabia. They were so long it took me almost a year to finish them.

New list:

Once upon a time in America
Schindler's list
Otto e mezzo
Ikiru
The sting
Sansho the Bailiff
Life is beautiful
Grapes of wrath
Ordet

A Hard Day's Night
Magical Mystery Tour

Deadpool
Life of Brian
CSA: Confederate States of America

Wayne's World
The Trip (1967)
Funny Games (2007)
The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini

I saw half the movies I posted about last year. I'll be making a new watchlist soon.

I always feel guilty and ashamed when I think about movies I haven't gotten around to watching yet.

2001: A Space Odyssey
Annie Hall
Citizen Kane
It's A Wonderful Life
One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest
Schindler's List
MASH
Rebel Without A Cause
Mission Impossible
To Kill A Mockingbird

I've been pretty active in expanding my film taste in the last five years, but I'm still a failure. Of the 10 movies on this 2013 list, I have watched Schindler's List and To Kill A Mockingbird.

My 10 for October 8, 2018:

10 - Aladdin

8 - Battlefield Earth
7 - Saw 8
6 - The Lincoln Lawyer

The dream has always been to see Dunston Checks In on Digital Versatile Disc as I saw it on Video Cassette about 6 years ago and I found it to be a delightful & funny family film.I can only assume the jump to DVD made an already great film all the more better.

The 9 movies I want to see less than DCI on DVD:
9)The Pelican Brief
8)The Big Lebowski
7)The Ice Pirates
6)The Girl with the dragon tattoo
5)Chocolat
4)The Lost World: Jurassic Park
3)Rocky V
2)You’ve Got Mail
1)What’s Eating Gilbert Grape?

Solo: A Star Wars Story
Schindler's List
Taxi Driver
Paint Your Wagon
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life
Vertigo
Rear Window
Heat
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Heathers
Cinderella (Live Action)
The King's Speech
Finding Dory
The Descendants (the one with George Clooney and his family, NOT the one with the Disney villain kids)
Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire
Man of Steel
Captain America: Civil War
The Good Dinosaur
Batman Begins

Heathers and Civil War are out. In their places I put Avengers: Infinity War and Saving Private Ryan.

I got loads, but here are some I really wanted to see but never got around to watching them...

10. Fritz the Cat
9. 2001: A Space Odyssey
8. Beetlejuice
7. The Godfather Parts 1, 2 and 3
6. Saw

Duel
Moonlight
2001: A Space Odyssey
Scarface
Reservoir Dogs (original)
Top Gun
The Room (just so unbelievably bizzare and extremely quotable. The Mark/Johnny fight at the end makes it a ten out of ten, easily.)
Alien sequels
The Thing
Blues Brothers
