Rewatching 10 and 12 did a lot to convince me. 11 has some moments, even.
I watch old episodes pretty much daily. Not seen a new episode this season, I think. But I forgot what season we're on. I've averaged probably 4 a season since season 20.
Ranging from "the Scully era was part of the classic era" to "not as bad as people say but still bad". I probably fall in the middle. I like his seasons but not classic era.
I get that comparison, definitely. It's a lot less snarky and stuff. I think the Simpsons forum frequently comes up with more interesting threads now though. Even if they are usually buried under a lot of rubbish. There has also been a definite shift towards Scully appreciation. Leo Pard would be so proud.
Further Maths is brutal. I took it for both years but the second year almost killed me. I enjoyed Maths and History though (didn't do the other two). History less so because I found I was better at learning it than writing about it. Are you looking at going to Uni? Any idea what for?
