Got inspired by people on Tumblr drawing their Simpsons OCs so I decided to draw a reference sheet for my OC Franklin Buckley, and it is not going well so far... (ignore the thing on the right I was testing out different pencil tool sizes)

he deserves more love from of the springfield mob fandom
(he only shows up in one episode, his existence makes the question of "who runs the springfield mob" more confusing and barely anything interesting is known about him and 98% of lore I have for him is made up by me and only exists in my head)

Hey guys just a heads up I will be a lot less active now and might be taking a break from this site.

This is because I have my final exams soon and thought it was best to take a break to study, I'll probably go back to regular posting in June.

In the episode "Marge on the Lam", when Lionel Hutz offers to babysit Homers kids he appears to be wearing a belt of some kind (or maybe it's something else, who knows).

Later he criticizes the show "L.A Law" over the fact that the main character is wearing one.

Honestly I'm thinking that "belt" wasn't really a "proper" belt...

(im probably the first to notice this detail also im back to hutzposting after the "weird and scary" period of dimaggioposting)

I know this is a long dead trend but I've thinking about making a "Ask Don Vittorio" thread so I get a better understanding of his character and my interpretation of him.

Got inspired by Meko and Lisa Marie Simpson's recent thanking sprees, so I'll have one on a much smaller scale.

@MaggotMagnet You are the best regular commentor a fanfic writer could ask for, I love how unbelievably gushy your comments are. I am insanely grateful for someone this supportive of writing (besides my friend). I still think about the fact you mentioned my fics to henrydavid and it was the first time I realised that you genuinely enjoy the stuff I make, I'm so used to beating myself up over my writing that seeing someone genuinely loving my stuff was just... wow.

@FlowerBloom I'll never forget when I was lurking on Tumblr and saw your transfem Hutz and thought to myself "Wow I hc Hutz as transmasc and they hc Hutz as transfem that's pretty cool" and wished I could share that with you, and then you joined NHC and then I could tell you about my transmasc Hutz. Love seeing you ramble about the Springfield Mob. Also you make awesome art and I hc Dr Nick as transmasc because of you!!!!!

Been thinking about this crusty/low quality Don Vittorio from Simpsons Wrestling lately.

Me looking at other peoples fanon lore for the Springfield Mob and feeling bad knowing theirs is infinity better, more canon accurate and makes more sense than my incomprehensible self-indulgent nonsense that's more focused on Don Vittorio, his history with one of the five crime families of Capital City and the DiMaggio crime family started than any thing else:

I sometimes forget people have Simpsons characters they actively hate, like there are people who hate Helen Lovejoy as in consider her "the worst character in the show"?

A reason why this place is so great is because every character has that one user who is utterly devoted to them, no matter how disliked by the general Simpsons fandom or how unpopular they are.

No normal human being is meant to obsess over a character with less than five minutes of screentime in the entire show.

God put me on this Earth to work hard and satisfy others NOT TO OBSESS OVER SOME ELDERLY MAFIOSO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and how could I forget a silly shady lawyer man)

This is insanely stupid but why did they give Don Vittorio pearly whites in Tapped Out.





Like in "Homie the Clown" his teeth are fucked, like they're yellowed and in one scene there are visible scratches(?) on them.

He must have been a huge smoker and/or never prioritised dental health because dear god.





Let the man have ugly teeth, that's all I'm saying.

Being obsessed with a character with barely any screen time is really funny because you will just go crazy over the smallest appearance and the details surrounding that appearance.
