I usually participate in the Inktober drawing challenge every year. Something always gets in my way and causes me to fall behind way past the end of October (often the fact I can only draw at the end of the night when it’s late and I’m tired), but I do always finish the drawings. I guess I’ll use my profile as a place to post my drawings for each day this year.

Today my husband and I acknowledge the anniversary of the day we embarked on a 17 year journey together. The actual wedding anniversary is in November, but we like to celebrate both anniversary days as they are special to us and it gives us an excuse to go out to eat for dinner Even though he doesn't post on here any more, happy 17th anniversary all the same to D4C.

Been sort of a rough day as September 20 made the 1 year anniversary of my doggo boy Mochi dying suddenly. It was almost exactly 9 years since the day we brought him home as a several week old puppy, and it kicked off several months of bad things happening. Thankfully I have the rest of my animal pals around, but he was a cool dude that I miss playing ball with a lot.

It’s sweltering today making me sweat every moment I am away from a fan, but we are still going to visit the Okinawan Festival in town. I usually have a good time just looking at all the displays, and I will get to eat some Italian food after the festival is over. Here’s hoping the weather doesn’t manage to get any worse…and that nothing crazy happens on the board today
