Eventually I was gonna change it but since you addressed that i would change it immediately sorry
When somebody talks about the Simpsons it’s always the classic era then the decline that never stops getting worse but the middle years of the Simpsons 10-19 had a rocky start for the 1st three seasons but eventually got good around season 14 not as good as the first 9 seasons but its still a competing with sitcoms until season 21 when it backed down hill but then season 34 was surprisingly good

Yeah but the Simpsons naturally started becoming worse due to time.
writers don’t wanna write: 1: it could possibly be that they get paid more that’s why they originally got cancelled bc fox didn’t wanna pay the cast 2: the writers felt the same way after season 8 by wanting to do something else 3: and a sitcom gets worse eventually to a point with how times change with the writers it’s all about there perspective’s on pop culture without it we wouldn’t have a show.
Why doesn’t season 9 - 12 feel like the Simpsons? Like when they got canceled it was a revival for the series with merchandise for everything but was there something with fox? Because fox canceled the show but the fans voted to bring it back was it the fox executives trying to be edgy with family guy departure from fox into adult swims show for a couple years through this time? Was it there attempt to be cool? Because the Simpsons until season 8 was a mockery for sitcoms in the general but into a family guy clone something that they make fun of nowadays. So I wanna know is what truly happened with fox and the Simpsons

I don't understand why some say the Scully era is like a clone of Family Guy. Season 9 and the first half of 10 all aired before Family Guy premiered, so it's more likely Scully just generally pushed the show in an edgier direction without being influenced by any show in particular.
Those seasons still feel like The Simpsons to me though, much more than the recent ones do.

Besides the fact that it's an adult animated show, the show becoming edgier was natural. Season 8 is more edgy compared to season 1, so of course that would only progress into the Mike Scully era.

There was a lot of turnover in the writers' room. Bill Oakley & Josh Weinstein stepped down as showrunners and were replaced by Mike Scully. Some of the writers who had been around before season nine also left the show like Steve Tompkins, who was in charge of one of the rewrite rooms. David X. Cohen stayed for a little bit, but not for long because he went to develop Futurama with Matt Groening. According to Scully, he worked well with Cohen and it's possible they would have been co-showrunners had Cohen not left. George Meyer was given more responsibility in the room and pretty much became the number two writer on staff. Also, newer writers were hired to replace the old ones. This isn't inherently a bad thing because the show lost almost its entire writing staff after season four and somehow managed to transition very well with the new writers in season five, but it would have been almost impossible to manage that a second time in four years.

Another very important thing is that there were more writers with families than previous seasons, so Scully cut the hours down so the staff didn't have to spend all their time in the room like before. Sometimes, Scully wouldn't be at work so he could go to Los Angeles Kings games. This boosted morale, but it might have also led to the show adopting a lazier approach because the writers weren't working the same hours that the previous writers did.
