once you are done, there should be a thing at the top. Type in my name, and there will probably be a bunch of pictures of people with the same name. My profile picture is me with my cousin {outside, playing hackey sac}. Click on that, and then click on "add as friend", it will come up on mine, and then i will accept, and that will be a "new notification"
