    Yep, I'm still around. Board has been kind of dead lately, so haven't had a ton to post about. Been working on a Simpsons and Pixar videos a lot for my channel, so that eats up a decent amount of time.

    not a big poke Man, i like the old series cuz childhood tho i also think the monsters were better conceived back then. i've never cared much for the rpg titles, always felt like stadium trimmed the fat more and got right to the good stuff.

    honestly tho i just want pokemon snap 2. seemed like a no-brainer for the wii u honestly, i suppose there may be no such thing tho.

    so to answer your question, pinsir is really cool. always liked his design.

    fuck, the internet's been wonky all night. friend had it fixed but it's still getting some sporadic errors.

    definitely pop back in so we can have some proper convos but for now tell me a bit more about this Real Life of yrs. never had one so i'm gonna live vicariously thru u

    I have trouble with the patience of doing all the short hop bairs with characters. I noticed it's a technique you like to use a lot with Falco and Donkey Kong, but my spacing usually gets all messed up with them. I usually end up preferring nair in a lot of cases. I forgot about Falco's awesome down-tilt. Most of my other characters don't have great down-tilts, so it's a technique I forget a lot.

    Yeah, Luigi is probably my secondary. Yoshi has a really bad grab game, so I like to use Luigi against fast close-combat people like Captain Falcon that Yoshi struggles with. I agree that Luigi is kind of boring with his fair strings... The moment you get grabbed you kind of wait for it to be done. He's a lot of fun to use for his down-special and nairs, though.

    I hate playing against Zero Suit Samus. They always seem to go for the same thing all the time and that lengthy tether grab drives me nuts. I like playing against Falco, however. His movement options with his side-Bs make him fun to chase around. I think I have forgotten all of his combos. The only one I could remember was his basic down-throw to fair. Couldn't get any of the short hop nairs that I remember he can do.

    Yeah, I agree. That Pikachu match is why I ended up dropping Pikachu after awhile. He combos really well and is super fast and everything... But his specials are so finicky offstage that annoying SDs happen too much. I really have a lot of respect for the professional Pikachu players out there. So much effort to play that character.

    The Lucas/Jigglypuff match annoyed me because Lucas is a pretty aerial-driven character and Jiggs outprioritizes, like, everything in the air. Toward the end of the match, I started to just wait for you to land and grab you, but his grab is so risky too. Definitely Lucas' worst matchup. At least I got the bair spike! :D

    I thought Pikachu was a tough matchup for Falco. His grab range is worse than I remembered.

    Yeah, you picked the worst possible time to go Ganondorf. Ness spaces him out so easily. Was debating between him and Captain Falcon that match.

    Good games. I feel like you were pretty consistently outplaying me tonight in terms of the flow of the matches, but I kept clutching it out at the last second. The Lucas/Jigglypuff ending was super dirty. I would like to say that was read, but it was more of a desperation upsmash...
