Nigeria sucks. Intermittent electricity, rotten infrastructure, large disparity between rich and poor, Rampant corruption, underdeveloped industries. We are the largest oil producing country in Africa, yet we import our gasoline.
doing decent. i'm sleeping on my parent's floor now, under an old pool table. no immediate plans otherwise. they watch every tv show/movie with me and are more enjoyable than most of my friends so it's actually pretty awesome. i get along with my dad really well now too
yeah, i might bundle a short story collection together and sell it myself soon. as for a big, amorphous novel, i have ideas but i want to make sure i mature a bit more as a storyteller. think i might take a crack at 25 or so. i do write occasional sketches on a notepad at work. so i guess i am getting paid for it. WORK MAN. UPS
that's not the exact quote but yeah. life, man. it's like trying to masturbate to gay porn
so who's the honey? isn't that your old flame? reignited, eh?

that sucks. the cool thing about panda and ac in general is that they always switch the old songs up anyway so no matter what those boring idiots will always be let down. i bet it was surreal to meet an aussie boarder

did dam funk play with a group? i saw some footage of panda bear from the fest and he sounded great
i can't way to see some of those guys again ... especially sobotka. it was awesome seeing his nephew a few episodes ago. i started the second to last episode and wanted to mention that i don't think i've ever pulled a 180 in terms of hating then loving a character like i have with nay. seeing him at the debate was great.
i'm going to take the cash i was planning to spend at b&n on a criterion this week and pick up season one of breaking bad. i don't like blind buying tv shows, but with all the praise i've read (plus the fact that bryan cranston is the best actor on television), i don't see how i will regret this. i need something to kill the time before mad men starts back.
good timing ... i just posted in the wire thread how season five was good, but a bit of a letdown. i think i would have preferred more focus on marlo and less on the serial killer/newspaper. i still have two episodes left, so i'm hoping some things get wrapped up.
i'm going to need another show to obsess over. considering either six feet under or breaking bad. i haven't seen an episode of either.
stayed up all night finishing season four. it's insane how emotionally attached i became to the characters this season -- especially the kids and bubbles. the last two episodes were devastating. brilliant, but hard to watch at moments.
it's hard to make an argument that this isn't the best show ever.
just finished episode 10, which ended with kima being shot. i really need to study for a final, but damn is it hard to stop right there. i'm going to have to at least watch the first part of 11.
